I understand this may seem off topic in regards to the US Constitution but I see it as being precisely with the US Constitution and understanding the Second Amendment.
One day we may be forced to stand up and fight to maintain our rights. The only way we can do that safely is through knowledge and understanding safety. Safety in regards to that most important right that separates the USA from countries that are ruled by tyranny.
If it is accepted here I will post from time to time, videos that will help us to maintain readiness in the unfortunate event it becomes necessary to water the tree of Liberty.

I am sure this Constitutional group understands the intent of the 2nd Amendment. I am concerned that its public and media "interpretation" is being intentionally corrupted. The 2nd Amendment is NOT to protect our Rights for sport shooting nor to protect ourselves, family, or our homes from criminals.
The 2nd Amendment is specifically to protect free Americans from a "potential" tyrannical government.
Secondly, the word militia is NOT an old-fashioned term similar to today's National Guard. The militia is EVERY able-bodied American with HIS own firearm to defend our country and Constitution.
The reason I point this out is to remind our group to educate the public and the media when they ignorantly or intentionally mis-interpret OUR Bill of Rights. In addition, the US Constitution DOES NOT give anyone any Rights, It points out which Constitutional Rights our government CANNOT violate, and all laws must conform to it. WE created the government to serve us, not to rule over us. Telling an untruth over and over perpetuates the lie and gives the perception of truth. We know better and if America takes note of the "intent" and actual words of the 2nd Amendment, they might come to their own conclusion that it exactly pertains to the behavior of present-day government as it blatently violates our Constitution and our freedoms today. We have this knowledge to share, not to keep a secret! Let's all please make corrections when we witness incorrect statements.
If this obvious mis-direction is understood by every American, maybe, just maybe, they might open their eyes and closed minds and begin to inquire about other topics to educate themselves about. Each American has some "hot button" issue with how government or politics is behaving today. We have non-confrontational answers to point them in the correct direction to increase THEIR knowledge. I caution all NOT to lecture OUR views on the dumbed-down Americans. They need to learn it on their own to believe it.
The main question I and a few million others have is, "when are the Free American Citizens going to assert their true authority and take back OUR 100% control of our government, all of its agencies and say our US Constitution is our permit, license, and background check?" Then voice our intentions that We the People will defend ALL our US Constitution and Bill of Rights from those attempting to violate them.
Naturally, we should all be safe and proficient and learn as much as we can to improve our knowledge and skill because of the huge responsibility that we are expected to reflect by just having such a wonderful American Protected Right. Other nations are envious of what we have taken for granted and let slip through our fingers, recently.
A secondary concern is the subject of having our 2nd Amendment "tools" without the unlawful background checks, permit, and licensing paperwork to protect us from having any agency or possibly the UN forces confiscating them. It is a personal and protected Right and no one has the right to ask or take anything that is not of their concern nor authority. Anytime any authority has an individual on a "list of any description" is an opportunity to be singled out and for possible abuse, with the sole exception of criminal activity, which can be justified.
