8575543069?profile=originalThe men who wrote and signed the Constitution set up a bi-cameral  legislature with a Senate to represent the states and a House of Representatives to represent the people.

Each state was entitled to 2 senators and 1 representative for every 30,000 people in their state. Today the average Congressional District has over 700,000 people. All of the legislative power is vested in the hands of 435 career politicians who represent the Wall Street bankers and corporations.

By reducing the size of the Congressional Districts to what was mandated in the Constitution we would take the power vested in the hands of 435 and share it with over 10,000 representatives.

On the surface increasing the size of the House to over 10,000 representatives would be

With the advent of internet technology there is no reason why Congressional Representatives could not conduct business online. They could spend leave  Washington DC and return to their home districts where they can be surrounded and supervised by their constituents rather than being surrounded by lobbyists representing Wall Street.

If we had 10,000 representatives instead of 435 the cost to run for Congress would make it affordable to most Americans.

  • The only way will be able to drain the swamp is abandon Washington DC and have our Congressmen return to their home districts. We also need to reduce the size of Congressional Districts and increase the number of representatives in the House to the number mandated in the Constitution,

    • The Rats abandoning DC ship may be happening sooner than we thought as the talk on the streets is President Trump's planning to crash the economy so we may not be needing DC. Apparently, he's going to crash it before the Feds do it .. the first one that crashes gets the upper hand. You know, to the victor goes the spoils! Sounds a lot like a GAME they're playing  I certainly feel better knowing that.

    • Keith, what is/was the disposition of this lawsuit .. A lawsuit filed in September 2009 in U.S. District Court (Clemons v. Department of Commerce) ?
