Instead of having gerrymandered Congressional Districts the counties in each of the states should have representatives in Congress based on their population. Every county with a population of 30.000 would have one representatives plus one additional representative for each additional 30,000 people.
Counties with less than 30,000 would be combined with other counties with less than 30,000 people.
By eliminating Congressional Districts and increasing the representation of the people in the House of Representatives the voices of the people would be heard loud and clear.
The 10,000 new representatives would leave Washington DC and return to their counties to represent their constituents. Instead of being surrounded by lobbyists they be surrounded and supervised by the people who elected them.
