All legislation shall originate in the House of Representatives.
All legislation that is passed in the House shall be sent on to the senate for ratification. Two thirds of the senators must agree tha the legislation does not violate the Constitution.
The Senate shall have the authority to repeal federal laws with the consent of two thirds of the senate.
All proposed amendments to the Constitution shall be initiated by the representatives of the people in the House of Representatives and shall require the approval of two thirds of the members of both houses.
What makes you tink that 75% of the Ssenate knows or even cares about the constitution
An Article V would be like opening a can of worms. "For the purposes of amending the Constitution..."
The states propose amendments. (plural) Congress calls the convention and runs the convention. The highest authority (plenipotentiary) is given to a constitutional convention, meaning, it is higher than the Constitution. The Constitution would not be protected from changes despite what the proponents of an Art. V say.
Could you foresee Soros' plans for an Art V?
Any who want a BBA, forget it. Tell Congress to do their jobs, and quit passing debt raising bills. Term limits? Forget it. Anything is an open door to disaster at this point in time, because no one cares about the Constitution. Other constitutions have already been written and are just waiting in the wings for people to get desperate enough to call for this.
It is all about the party, the power, that's it. and kickback from soros/UN and the rest of the NWO'ers.
Absolutely correct Jeanine,
However, that's not even the real problem with this whole representation/legislation thing.
It's spelled out in Article I, Section 7, wherein;
"All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the house..."
However, it also goes on to say that
"...the Senate may propose or concur with amendments, (to a bill, not the Constitution) as on other bills."
Further we find that if look closely at Article I, Section 2, Clause 3, we will find that;
"Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several states which may be included within this Union..."
"The number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand..." (people per district is what shall not be exceeded. There is no maximum on the number of Representatives; only a maximum on the number of the constituency.)
And still further we find some MAJOR implications to this ratio in Article II, Section 1, wherein;
"The... President of the United States of America...shall...be elected, as follows;
Each State shall appoint...a number of Electors, equal to the whole number Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled, (allotted), in the Congress;.."
So you see that more than one part of the fundamental protections we have, (had?), built into Article I and Article II, are now null and void and by this very action, the federal government has become a dictator, filled with corrupt politicians, answering only to the special interests, who keep funding their re-elections. The people's power and voice have been reduced to whimper. And;
THAT'S THE PROBLEM!
