  • Yes, ok true.... wake us up  thanks!!

  •         Sometimes the more things change, the more they remain the same. i.e. Thomas Jefferson - "Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and opressions of the body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day."

The wizards of our day are the same as our founding fathers faced and fought against.  The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, and a war against absolutes has taken its toll, but although we are down, we are not out.

  • Just as faith without works is dead, so is education without action. Education is merely the first step, education also will accomplish nothing unless the students are willing to take the action that is necessary to restore the principles of outline in "The Law" by Frederic Bastiat.

  •      I do practice "Liberty" but I am  em cumbered by many neigbbors who have time to "teach" but no time to learn.  Although they tacitly acknowledge that something is very wrong, very few will even make an effort to investigate, let alone stop and correct the obvious evils of our day. But that  does n't  discourage me from at least trying.  Like a line out of the movie "Avatar"; "It's hard to teach somebody whose cup is already full."  even so, most of my neighbors would rather concern themselves with their own concerns than those of this country.

  • You are absolutely correct. Unless a student has an open mind they are not capable of learning. Education is another name for indoctrination.

  •     That is the biggest  stumbling-block for collectivist thinkers, the Individual is capable of plotting his own course, and they will use all the power of the state to pervert his course.  As Individuals, Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, Frederic  Bastiat, Leo Tolstoy, as as recently demonstrated Adam Kokesh have  demonstrated that, Individuals are capable of sustaining their rights without damaging others.   When God is our King, we hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal.  But when  oligarchs  and  tyrants  rule, men hide themselves (or at least try).

I think Ronald Reagan said it best when he stated: "If we are not one nation under God, we are a nation about to go under."   Since natural law has come under attack by so many "Special Interest" groups and legislators, the "We" has become  balkanized to extremes, which is the ultimate identity theft of America's glory.
