Liberty or Tyranny?

8575539664?profile=originalWhen 27 more states ratify the originally proposed First Amendment to our Constitution we the people will once again take control of the House of Representatives.

With smaller Congressional Districts and over 6,000 new representatives we will be able to make some significant changes to make America great again.

The Constitution mandates that Congress must meet at least once a year. I propose that Congress meet quarterly online for the first 10  in January, April, July, and October.

During the months of February, May, August, and November every Representative will be required to hold a Town Hall Meeting in their District.

Each Representative will be a part time employee of the people and will be available to meet with and listen to the concerns of the people in his or her district at least 3 days per week when Congress is not in session.

The primary focus of the members of Congress will be to reduce the size and scope of the Federal government by determining which bureaus and agencies are absolutely necessary and defund those that are not.

To repeal all Federal Laws that are deemed to be unconstitutional and to require that the Constitutionality of all new laws be determined. Congress will determine the Constitutionality of all laws, not the Supreme Court..

To pass a law that would strip the Supreme Court of the unconstitutional power of Judicial  To strip from the Supreme Court the authority to interpret the meaning of the Constitution.

To pass a law that would ban political parties from donating money to fund the election of political candidates.

To pass a law that would make it illegal for corporations and unions to donate money to support political parties.

To pass a law to abolish Public Employee Unions.

To pass a law that would offer tax incentives to the mainstream media to provide Presidential candidates with an equal amount of free air time..

To pass a law that would strip from the members or Congress their pensions and have them rely on Social Security like every one else.

To pass a law that would allow the members of the House to serve for no more than six years.

To pass a law that would prevent the President from engaging in any military action without the approval of two thirds of the members of both the House and the Senate.

I would also like to propose that anyone running for Congress be required to take a test on the Constitution and score 90% or better in order to qualify as a candidate.

These are just a few of my ideas on what Congress needs to do to restore our Constitutional Republic.
