8575472470?profile=originalPresident John Adams is credited with having said "There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by sword. The other is by debt."

While it is doubtful that he actually ever made this statement, truer words have never been spoken.

For thousands of years the rich and powerful, motivated by greed have dominated the masses. They have stolen their freedom and forced them into perpetual slavery at the point of a bayonet. Today we volunteer to become slaves when we borrow money and pay taxes.

A man is endowed by his Creator with certain unalienable rights which include the right to life, liberty and property. When these rights are taken from him, he becomes a slave.

A soldier that is paid to steal a man's freedom is known as a mercenary, while an agent that seeks to a take a man's property is known as a banker. The debtor loses his independence and becomes a slave to his creditor.

An attorney is a paid mercenary who assists the bankers in the theft of the people's property. Their function is to keep the rich and powerful in their place while keeping everyone else where they belong; poor and in debt.

Borrowing money is a very dangerous proposition. Debt is what makes it possible for the top 1% to control the remaining 99%. Ninety percent of the nation's wealth is controlled by ten percent of the population.

Bankers, lawyers, stockbrokers, insurance agents and politicians are all agents of the financial elite who are there to enslave as many people as possible. If you doubt what I say, just follow the money trail and it will lead to the source of tyranny.

  • Excellent comment. We are in fact the collateral on the fictitious debt supposedly owed to the Federal Reserve. The money was created out of thin air and was conceived in fraud.

When we as individuals go into debt, we become a debtor and a slave to the creditor who becomes our master.

  • What is said in the quote is more important than who said it. Like you I believe that many of the quotes being shared today are not being attributed to who actually made the statement.

I indicated in the article that the authenticity of the quote was not certain.

President John Adams is quoted as saying, "There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by sword. The other is by debt." While the origin of the quote is not certain, the truth revealed is obvious.

  • Bankers, Lawyers, Stockbrokers and Insurance Agents all work for the financial elite. Their income is derived from the services they provide that is essential to keeping the vast majority of the people in a perpetual state of debt. Follow the money and it will lead to the source of our tyranny.

  • There are a lot of quotes that are discredited, that doesn't mean they should all be discredited.

Like Keith said, the words are more important than who said it.  There's no doubt in my mind that one of the founders said and believed those words.
