In order to prevent Communist sympathizers from immigrating to the United States, Congress passed the McCarren-Walter Immigration Act which prohibited anyone linked to organizations that promoted ideas that were contrary to our Constitution. Anyone who the President felt posed a threat to our National Security would be denied the right to enter the United States
Anyone embracing a political ideology that promotes the violation basic human rights is not allowed to come to the United States.

H.R. 5678 was named after its sponsors, Senator Pat McCarran (D-Nevada), and Congressman Francis Walter (D-Pennsylvania).
President Harry Truman, a Democrat, vetoed the Act because he regarded the bill as "un-American" and discriminatory. His veto message said:[1][2][3]
Today, we are "protecting" ourselves as we were in 1924, against being flooded by immigrants from Eastern Europe. This is fantastic. ... We do not need to be protected against immigrants from these countries–on the contrary we want to stretch out a helping hand, to save those who have managed to flee into Western Europe, to succor those who are brave enough to escape from barbarism, to welcome and restore them against the day when their countries will, as we hope, be free again....These are only a few examples of the absurdity, the cruelty of carrying over into this year of 1952 the isolationist limitations of our 1924 law.
In no other realm of our national life are we so hampered and stultified by the dead hand of the past, as we are in this field of immigration.
Truman's veto was overridden by a vote of 278 to 113 in the House and 57 to 26 in the Senate.
Speaking in the Senate on March 2, 1953, McCarran said:[4]
I believe that this nation is the last hope of Western civilization and if this oasis of the world shall be overrun, perverted, contaminated or destroyed, then the last flickering light of humanity will be extinguished. I take no issue with those who would praise the contributions which have been made to our society by people of many races, of varied creeds and colors. ... However, we have in the United States today hard-core, indigestible blocs which have not become integrated into the American way of life, but which, on the contrary are its deadly enemies. Today, as never before, untold millions are storming our gates for admission and those gates are cracking under the strain. The solution of the problems of Europe and Asia will not come through a transplanting of those problems en masse to the United States. ... I do not intend to become prophetic, but if the enemies of this legislation succeed in riddling it to pieces, or in amending it beyond recognition, they will have contributed more to promote this nation's downfall than any other group since we achieved our independence as a nation.

The immigration act of 1907 prohibited immigration by polygamists or people that admit their belief in support of polygamy. So muslims would also be excluded based on that.
Islam is antithetical to freedom. Sharia Law is inextricable with Islam. Islam is not simply a religion. In fact it isn't a religion at all. It is a political system of oppression against freedom. As such, Sharia Law is "Repugnant to the U.S. Constitution". In Marbury v Madison, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled,in 1803, that "ANY LAW that is repugnant to the U.S. Constitution is NULL and VOID". Sharia Law has absolutely NO authority in the USA and is impotent under our Constitution.It is therefore NOT protected by the Constitution.
Mr. Laity was right. Islam is not a religion. it is a political movement. As you will see in this writing, I believe EVERY person unwilling to pledge a allegiance to our Constitution should be deported.
ISLAM: A RELIGION OR POLITICAL MOVEMENT?
A review of the Koran and other documents related to Islam reveals the following:
"There is a clash of civilizations. Militant jihad is a religious duty before God, and therefore necessary for the salvation of one's soul as well as for the defense of the Muslim nation."
"Only two camps exist. There can be no middle ground in an apocalyptic showdown between Islam and the 'forces of evil.' The forces of evil are defined as "'the West and also Muslims who do not share the militant jihadist vision of 'true Islam.'”
"Violence by Muslims in the defense of Islam is the only solution. Peaceful existence with the West is a dangerous illusion."
"'Apostate' regimes must go. Muslim governments that cooperate with the West and that have not imposed Sharia (Islamic) law are religiously unacceptable and must be violently overthrown."
"U.S. power is based on its economy. Therefore, large-scale, mass-casualty attacks -- especially focused on American and other Western economic targets -- are a primary goal."
• Criticizing or denying any part of the Quran is punishable by death.
• Criticizing or denying Muhammad is a prophet is punishable by death.
In the second to last chapter (chapter 9) called Taubah (which means "Ultimatum"), we find:
9:5 Slay the idolaters wherever you find them.
9:11 Treat converts to Islam well, but kill those who refuse to convert (see 9:5).
9:33 The "Religion of Truth" (Islam) must prevail, by force if necessary, over all other religions.
9:111 Believers must fight for Allah. They must kill and be killed. Allah will reward them for it.
Surah 4:89 – “Those who reject Islam must be killed.”
Surah 8:39 – “And fight them until there is no more fitnah (disbelievers) and the religion will all be for Allah alone.”
The above quotes make it clear that Islam is more than a religion, that it is not compatible with America’s culture, and that every Muslim, to be true to the tenets of her/his faith, must always strive to assure the installation of Sharia law wherever they reside. There is no room for such thinking and practice in America!
Chapter 2 Section 212 of PL 414 prohibits entry to the US of any Alien belonging to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by "force, violence, or other unconstitutional means." According to the above Muslims fit this description.
It’s time the Federal government acknowledges these facts and pass legislation requiring everyone wishing to live in America embrace our culture or be deported as a hodgepodge of cultural and religious values provides no basis for law?
Allowing adherents of the Islamic faith to immigrate to the United States would be like inviting a pack of wolves to move into a community of sheep. The President of the United States has a responsibility to protect the lives, liberty and property of the people from those who are opposed to the principles upon which our nation was conceived.
