Abraham Lincoln's own words reveal that he was a white supremacist!
Did he save the Union or did he destroy our Constitutional Republic?
George Washington is regarded as the Father of our country
and perhaps Lincoln should be considered the Father of our Government.

Stephen, not to contradict you, but I might suggest that we, too often, judge the actions of our predecessors by today's standards. What was, at that time, considered prudent and right, in hindsight may indeed be viewed as treasonous. What little I know of Lincoln's understanding and circumstances of that day, gives me the view that he did what he thought best, as he was handicapped by his inability to foresee how others would use his actions against our Republic in the future. In a time when a country is divided so bitterly against itself (not unlike today) drastic and extraordinary actions may be taken. The difference now, is that our transparent bureaucracy is intentionally dividing us to gain more illicit control over our fast-disappearing wealth. Our division, I submit, would better serve us, if we make that divide between US and our bureaucracy. The sooner we secure that division, and permanently disassociate ourselves from our corrupt, incestuous bureaucrats, the sooner we can reaffirm our commitment to Constitutional principles and begin healing our Republic. That should be our focus and our goal.
Stephen, I apologize. I failed to make my point. What about "Our division, I submit, would better serve us, if we make that divide between US and our bureaucracy. The sooner we secure that division, and permanently disassociate ourselves from our corrupt, incestuous bureaucrats, the sooner we can reaffirm our commitment to Constitutional principles and begin healing our Republic. That should be our focus and our goal." is wrong?
What happen during The Civil War is real today as it was back then. You'll never solve the tyranny that we live under now until we go back to common-law. That's the premise or the point that you are missing. The problem will never go away until this one problem is dealt with . You can not get rid of thee bureaucracy until you get rid of Maritime Law . Anything that you dream of is only dream unless this problem is fixed. I be leave you have actually missed the point and I'm right on the point and your point is off premise and your problem solving leads to a premise that is unworkable . Until you fix the real problem , which is getting rid of Maritime Law and going back too Constitutional Law , Which is based On common-law. Your premise will never work. Sincerely, Steve
Stephen, we agree, our understanding of history is important. My point continues to be: what are we doing to fix it--how do we get rid of maritime law (process)? How do we purge the bureaucracy (process) of the parasites and miscreants so bent on our destruction? I am more concerned with formulating and executing our plan to repair the damage, than rehashing what went wrong. I have no interest in arguing with you, rather, I suggest we turn the conversation to a more constructive purpose. Your keen understanding of history could be a valuable asset in that endeavor.
How do you tell when a politician is lying? His lips are moving.
I think Lincoln was just an ass-hole just like the Presidents since Carter (excluding Regan).
