Rethink Instead of Repeal
Article V of the Constitution states that no state (legislature), without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.
Currently the people are represented in both the House of Representatives and the Senate and the States have no representation at all.
The delegates of the states who drafted the Constitution wanted the people's voice to be by Representation in a House and the States voice to be by appointment through the state's Legislatures, rested in a Senate; two houses to separate power;
In 1913 with the alleged ratification of the Seventeenth Amendment, the states austensibly altered the very checks and balances they were put there to defend against.. They surrendered their right to be represented in the U.S. Senate, and the matter has been hotly debated as to the fact that the 17th Amendment was actually never lawfully ratified in the first place. Yes I said FACT!
Thirty six states supposedly ratified the amendment in 1913 and ten states refused to ratify the amendment at that time. Subsequently Alaska and Hawaii have been admitted to the Union and the states of Delaware, Maryland, Rhode Island and Alabama have ratified the Seventeenth Amendment.
Every single amemendment to the Constitution would be repealed if 13 of the state legislatures voted on rescinding their previous vote to ratify the amendment. In order for an amendment to be valid, there must be at least 38 states in support of the amendment.
Great, so how does one get these 13 other states to vote to un-ratify this part of this crooked so called constitution?
