George Washington once observed that governmental power is like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. Lord Action stated that "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupt absolutely."
The men who wrote the Constitution knew that in order to create a government that would protect the lives, liberty and property of the people, the government must be restrained by what Thomas Jefferson referred to as the chains of a Constitution.
When men have the power to write unjust laws and they have a government to enforce them you have tyranny. When a cartel of bankers, lawyers and politicians run the country you have government sponsored crime syndicate.
Our political system which was created to protect the rights of the people has become an enemy liberty and personal responsibility.
The system can not work properly if the people are collective ignorant and apathetic. To be free, we must educate outselves on the principles upon which our nation was founded.
The same criminals who control Congress also control the schools, churches, and the mass media. Like a floppy disk we are being programmed by our masters to be obedient lap dogs and to believe what we are told is true.
We think we are free, but in reality we are all debt slaves on a Federal plantation. Goethe once said "The most helpless of all slaves is the man who falsely believes he is free."
When people violate the lives, liberty or property of others, they have committed a crime, but when governments do it is called legislation. A law that is not just is immoral and should not be obeyed. Laws promote justice, liberty and equality while unjust laws the rich and powerful the ability to exploit the many. As long as we as a people remain asleep will never enjoy our freedom. We must get educated and then have the courage to end the tyranny in America.

Which is why the presidential debates should focus on the following:
Repeal the 16th Amendment and go with a 10% national sales tax
Dissolve the Federal Reserve System and return all of it's assets to the U.S. Treasury
Privatize Social Security and make it voluntary AND Illegal for the Federal Government to borrow from it.
Mandate that EVERYTHING the Federal government purchases MUST be manufactured in the United States

Once the people collectively come to the realization of what is going on it will take the courage of millions of Americans to stand up for the principles upon which our nation was founded. Unfortunately most Americans are willing to trade their liberty for the illusion of security.
People who lack the courage to fight for freedom are not entitled to it.
