The only people who are required to pay the IRS are govt. employees. If you are not a govt. employee, you do not have to sign the tax contracts, better known as 1040s, 1090s, etc. Out of 35 years, I…Continue

Wayne:  Right.  Or just write a declaration, signed by the people, supported by the people that the IRS is gone.

Maria is right, in the short term. Wayne is right in the long run b/c we do need to repeal many of the amendments, including the 16th; however, that would take a Con-Con which would be EXTREMELY dangerous to do now in our, current, state of Socialism. Let's get back to Constitutional governance and - then - start the repeal process!

Our Congressmen needs to read Vol. one and Two of "The Law that never was". They were written by a man that went to all 50 states researching the 16th Amendment. He came to the conclusion that the 16th Amendment was not legally ratified, which would make it void.

Now's the time to ride the wave that's up on this issue.  It's a great time to reach out to people all over the country who are Tea Party pages and in groups that are in an argument over Flat or Fair, Abolish or Audit, Petition or Declaration to teach, teach, teach...We need a Declaration to Abolish from the people.  It can be carried by OUR representatives to their houses of government.

Any form of direct taxation violates the Constitution. As Chief Justice John Marshall declared, "The power to tax is the power to destroy". Up until 1913 there were no direct taxes paid to the central government and we have been in a state of perpetual war ever since/

Let it be known to all Congressmen that "We the People" will not vote for any candidate that is not willing to make a pledge to repeal the 16th Amendment.

Reading material on why we don't need an income tax.

I think cutting the budget down to revenues the first year ( fifty percent cut ). Then cutting 10% off that budget for each subsequent year, until we get down to about twenty percent of current revenues, reducing the tax burden to taxpayers along the way. The first focus should be cutting government employees and getting rid of all government pensions for any new employees including house and senate.
