Capitalism is an economic term that does not include or embrace "cronyism".
It differs in economic application substantially with other economic applications like Socialism and Fascism, both of which places the means of production in the control of government.
Socialism by ownership and Fascism by control.
Capitalism promotes individual property rights, including the means of production and free markets.
