Just because we dont' use the site member invitation format does not mean we havn't asked prople to join. I have send out at least 300 invitations to my mailing lists as it is is much easier to do that than to use your individual invitation form. I plan on contu=inueingto send out that way to those on my lists  I believe would or should join.
