Social "Security"

Here’s some interesting facts few of us have ever seen. It involves YOUR MONEY. So here is a small intro to:

The Social Security Act (Act of August 14, 1935)

[H. R. 7260]

Short Title

An act to provide for the general welfare by establishing a system of Federal old-age benefits, and by enabling the several States to make more adequate provision for aged persons, blind persons, dependent and crippled children, maternal and child welfare, public health, and the administration of their unemployment compensation laws; to establish a Social Security Board; to raise revenue, (from each according to their abilities… - Karl Marx)and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

TITLE I- GRANTS TO STATES FOR OLD-AGE ASSISTANCE

APPROPRIATION

SECTION 1.

For the purpose of enabling each State to furnish financial assistance, as far as practicable under the conditions in such State, to aged needy (to each according to their needs,… - Karl Marx), individuals, there is hereby authorized to be appropriated for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1936, the sum of $49,750,000, and there is hereby authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year thereafter a sum sufficient to carry out the purposes of this title. The sums made available under this section shall be used for making payments to States which have submitted, and had approved by the Social Security Board established by Title VII (hereinafter referred to as the Board ), State plans for old-age assistance.

Wow, the title and first section of this Act really do tell the story if you’re paying attention. It clearly spells out the true intention of the drafters of this “legislation”.

Right in the Title we see that their desire is to provide for the general welfare instead of simply promoting it like they should by staying out of the way. Then they include Unemployment as a condition for qualification to receive “benefits”.

As if that’s not enough, they continue to the last and most important words at the end of the title, “and for other purposes.” This is a black hole where your money disappears, because they are now authorized to do WHATEVER THEY WANT with it. Is this what you call Social Security? Not me. These bastards have gotten the last “Voluntary” dollar they’re ever going to get from me. If we can volunteer in, we should be able to volunteer out. Anyone else want out? STOP trusting these people with your financial security. If your money is in someone else’s possession it is not secure.

I wouldn't want to accept it anyway. If he does, it makes him a slave to the corporation via "accepting of the benefits". It may cost him his life later on.

Thank you Michael,

I couldn't agree more and you are absolutely correct. It's time for us to start getting these people running for the hills. The banksters, attorneys, judges and politicians had better start worrying, because we the People are not going to sit much longer and watch them steal our freedom and our money, (sovereignty).

Semper Fi to all the Marine forces and to all the politicians and especially the IRS who wish to have my property, Molon Labe, (come and get it). I'll be waiting.

I consider that an across the board affront to anyone who just survives on SS. A generalization just like anyone who draws food stamps is lazy & refuses to work. Yes, there are abuses running rampant within the system. But that is just what the government wants....dependent slaves. That does not make SS  a freebie as I was never asked if I wanted to participate. I & my employers shared in the contributions. Having worked a full time job since I was 14, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would have to depend on it as my sole income. But, as you probably know, no matter how well you script your life, *#$@ happens.  And yes, as a matter of fact, I DO defend my illusionary freedoms; I'm in a militia as a "non-combatant"  (medic) & have signed up as a Common Law jurist.....& yourself ? And just for the record, I do not draw food stamps, I farm & buy/barter w/ local farmers.

So true Wayne, so true.

I call it Social Insecurity, and it reminds me of little kids who need a "Security" blanket, who aren't willing to defend their rights, but prefer government granted privileges, which can be revoked at any time.

You're probably right Bonnie.

Again, thanx for sharing your thoughts.

Absolutely, Morton, & I apologize. I'm just so used to being on the defensive, I missed the point. 70 yo struggling to figure out how to fix things w/o adding even MORE govmt. intrusion into our lives. Everyone is in a hurry now to "fix" things that should never have been allowed to happen in the first place. Blind trust got us here over a long period of time + apathy towards politics so I just don't want to get so impatient we compound the error. A very lg. portion of this country survives...& I DO mean "survives" .....on SS alone. And to pull that illusion out from under them now would be as disastrous as the crash that produced the Depression, I feel.

Bonnie,

Thanx for the feedback, but I think your off point a little. I never used the word "Handout", so I know not why you bring that up.

Secondly, All I did was show you the TITLE of this egregious Act. They put their true intentions in the title where it says "and for other purposes." I am not making reference to anything except the truth as written.

My whole point was that no matter WHO put the money there, no matter why it was put there or what they currently do with it, they are NOT obligated to pay you one single penny if they find that these "other purposes" are more important. Frankly I don't trust them with any of my money or my sovereignty.

And finally, it's broke or technically "Insolvent" because IT IS NOT A TRUST FUND! Period! There is NO ACCOUNT in your name, or anyone else's. You are not legally entitled to these funds as you must "Qualify" for the "Benefits" of the "Insurance" program to "Receive" payment. This amounts to a handout in the eyes of government, but is in reality simply an insurance scheme you MUST QUALIFY for. It is ANYTHING BUT a personal retirement account. OK? Does that clear up my intentions a little?

I've read elsewhere where it was first entitled "Social Supplement" & was never intended to be a "retirement", but supplement an individuals own plan for retirement. Have not researched into whether the states are, indeed, drawing this from the government & hiding it in the CAFR accounts. However SS is funded 1/2 by you & 1/2 by your employer & are NOT govmt. "handouts". It's supposedly broke because the govmt. has "borrowed" from it, but I'm sure it's all hidden in the CAFRs.
