Reward Offered!

There is no Law!

A $50,000 reward was offered by "We the People Foundation"
in 2000 to anyone who could prove that there is a law that requires the average American to file and pay income taxes. Many IRS agents have accepted the challenge, but the fact is, no one has been able to find the law and win the money. So that means the offer stands. However, the prize is likely to remain unclaimed. The reason no one has claimed the reward and the law can't be found is because the law doesn't exist.

In Article I, Section 8, Clause 1, in the Constitution it states;

"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;"

Congress is granted the authority to lay and collect taxes uniformly throughout the states, not directly from the labor of the people. All direct taxes must be apportioned among the states, (not the people) based on the population of the state, (not it's size).

The IRS is a privately owned corporation which serves as a collection agency for the bankers who own and operate the Federal Reserve; another privately held corporation. If you think there is no consequence for allowing this kind of fraud to continue, then

2. Wesley Snipes: You know him as Blade, but the IRS knows him as a tax evader that used various means to hide a lofty income. Snipes was found guilty on three counts of failing to file a federal income tax return, owing the government $17 million in back taxes plus penalties and interest. His attempt to pay off a portion of what he owed during his trial to avoid the slammer, failed and in 2008, Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison. He began serving his sentence in December 2010.

Keith, The 16th amendment did away with the earlier amendment when it was voted and approved by the states. The constitution allows for changing what it does and does not allow. That is the problem with people wanting a convention of states. A convention of states would allow them to place amendments that could completely change our government and strike our rights such as right to keep and bear arms.

The 16th amendment passed by the states allows congress to lay and collect taxes on income from any source derived. That is in the Constitution. The supreme law of the land. This gives congress the power to put taxes on your income.

Robert Becker rules, regulations, codes, ordinances and statutes are not laws. The Constitution in the Supreme Law of the Land and any legislative action that violates the Constitution is null and void. The Constitution authorizes Congress to lay and collect taxes on the states not the people. Representation and taxes are to be apportioned among the states, not among the people. The 16th Amendment was and is clearly unconstitutional because it violates the Constitution.

The federal tax laws are contained in the Internal Revenue Code, which was passed by the United States Congress. The Internal Revenue Code is also known as Title 26 of the United States Code, which is the compilation of all the laws passed by Congress.

The Internal Revenue Code is the law that requires people to pay taxes.

The most important statutory provision with regard to income taxes is the very first: section one of the tax code, 26 U.S.C. § 1. Section one imposes the income tax. If you are unmarried, the relevant provision is § 1(c), which states:

The Internal Revenue Code found at Title 26 of the United States Code. Title 26 is the full compilation of all the laws passed by Congress relating to tax liability and every other legal obligation, definition, exemption, exception, etc. The Internal Revenue Code is the law that requires people to pay taxes

The 16th Amendment says that "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."
