American Exceptionalism
The United States government is exceptional but whether it is exceptionally good or bad depends on how you look at it. When American people rally countries when hit by earthquakes, floods and other disasters we are exceptionally good, but when the people allow of 50 million unborn babies to to aborted, we are an exceptionally bad nation.
The nation as a whole reflects the collective virtue of the people, and the men and women we elect to represent us. When the people are collectively righteous, they will elect virtuous leaders, but when the majority of people are motivated by greed and the love of money, we become a nation of criminals and thieves
Over many years our government has abandoned the founding principles and become just another government ruled by the bankers and the financial elite.
Our nation was built on the principles of liberty, equality, and justice, but we have become a nation where the few at the top of the financial ladder benefit at the expense of everyone else.
The government that was created to protect the rights of the people has become a welfare state where the wealth of the productive individuals are sacrificed for the greater good of the greater number.
The damage done can only be reversed if we reject the allure of socialism and return to our founding principles. Peace, prosperity and freedom do not happen by accident, they are the direct results of following the principles of sound government.
When a nation is composed of millions of righteous parents who live and teach ethics and morality to their children, we will be well on our way to restoring the greatness of the United States.
