Whoever Said That Crime Doesn't Pay ?

8575444091?profile=originalWhoever said that "crime doesn't pay" was obviously not a Congressman. Benjamin Franklin predicted that unscrupulous men and women would seek positions of power in order to satisfy their greed and lust for power. When Congressmen are rewarded by bankers and Wall Street corporations, they gladly pass legislation that benefits the corporations rather than the people they were elected to serve.

Paying so-called public servants exorbitantly high salaries, attracts the worst possible candidates, Instead of electing true statesmen to serve us, we elect politicians who have mastered the art of selling their votes to the highest bidder.

A position in Congress is a fantastic place to satisfy one's greed and lust for power. If we continue doing what we have been doing for the past one hundred years we will continue getting what we've been getting.

The only difference between the Mafia and the government is the size of their operation and the fact that we get to choose who gets to rob and regulate us. The Mafia employs thugs to extort money from business owners, while the IRS agents pick our collective pockets with Congressional approval.

It costs a candidate approximately 1.2 Million Dollars to be elected to Congress and those who provide the funding of the campaigns do so with the understanding that their generosity will be rewarded after the election.

We the people elect them, but they take their orders from their financiers. It is no coincidence that most Congressmen and women are  lawyers who are paid well to lie, cheat and steal the wealth of the people they were elected to serve.
