A theory is a premise or an belief that is not based on upon scientific evidence. It was a long held belief that the earth was in the center of the Universe and that the earth was flat. We now know that both of these have been proven false. Hitler's rise to power of Nazi Germany was fueled by the belief in the supremacy of Aryan Race. The promotion of this theory led to inceneration of millions of undesirable human beings.
