When a law is not enforced it ceases to be a law. The Constitution which was once the supreme law of the land had become nothing more than a suggestion. In order for our government to function properly we need to enforce the Constitution and must hold our government officials accountable.
The ruling class needs to know that the failure to honor their oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution will result in criminal charges being filed. The principles upon which our nation was founded are not being taught in the school. We as parents and grandparents have a duty to teach our children and grandchildren about the Constitution and the principles of liberty.
In order to resurrect our Constitution we must demand that our governmental servants only exercise those powers which have been delegated to them in Article 1 Section 8 Any power or authority not specifically granted to Congress is prohibited! The Constitution is the rule book the government is expected to follow and "We the People" are the ones to decide what is and what is not Constitutional.
If we fail to do our job to enforce the Constitution, those who are supposed to serve us will become our masters and we will become their slaves. If parents have rules that they expect their children to obey, if the fail to enforce the rules the children will have no incentive to follow the rules.
A Wall Street bankers and corporations share their profits with the men and women in Congress and even though we elect them they take their marching orders from the financial elite.
The members of Congress spend a million dollars or more to get elected and it is the bankers and Wall Street Corporations and fund their re-elections. Congressional Representatives are rewarded by the financial elite to violate the Constitution in order to transfer our wealth in to their pockets.
The men and women we have elected to be the guardians of liberty have become the agents of a tyrannical crime syndicate that masquerades as a legitimate government.
As I see it the most significant flaw in the Constitution is that the penalties for violating the Constitution are not spelled out. In a game of football there is a set of rules and specific penalties when the rules are broken. If a player is caught holding the team receive a 10 yard penalty and in college if a player commits pass interference there is a 15 yard penalty.
When a government official violates his or her oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution the penalty should be the forfeiture of a significant portion of their salary.
