"Every State SHOULD want to repeal the 17th Amendment. It is the abysmal ignorance of state legislators who don't understand how it is the only way to restore the Republic. Who will educate them, if we do not?"
"Another Reply by Lewis: I too read all of Napolitano's article. He laid it out well, and he convinced me that I was wrong to have thought that it was okay for the Executive Branch of U.S. or of state government to suspend our civil…"
"Becker and Rehders, I think I understand you both fairly well. You seem to have strong disagreement on following the government directive to shut down a great many normal activities. Thoughtful, working, well-intentioned people always…"
"Yes, Trump should shut down voting and stay in power. Trump, Putin, and Bolsonaro should all three stay in power. They are about the only leaders remaining in the major countries that have sense enough to come in out of the rain. …"
"I don't spend a lot of time on here, but I don't see much about how it is that Coronavirus is killing the Constitution. I saw about five lines saying the president can suspend our liberties in a crisis. That seems to me…"
"Excellent post. Does anyone have a guess why the politicians corrupted the process so very early in the history of this great nation? I think it did major damage to the Republic by putting us into a democracy,…"
"All I have is my own speculation as to WHY the politicians set up the sham system to let the people vote on the Electors instead of following the Constitution. Does anyone have some information on it? I think my guess is good, but info…"
"I like your statement that the President is not elected by the people directly. That is true, but the problem is the the Constitution does not even provide for indirect election by the people. The politicians simply set up what we have…"
"Morton, I believe you just wrote: We could start by Restoring the Republic first.
I think that is too vague for me to take any action. Then you wrote that the first thing is to "Just say No!" I believe I read a post…"
"I agree that our Republic is no longer operated according to Republican principles. By what means we the people can restore it to proper function is the right question to ask. Unfortunately, there are probably a dozen or more directions…"
"Seems to me a State is a State, is a State. Each State has its history, boundary, Capital city, government, University etc. so there is no need to split states. We just need to follow the Constitution. "
Lewis, You seem to be asking a different question here. If you are looking to find out who is on line, you can accomplish that by going to the "Main Page " icon right below the header "Friends of Liberty" on any page. Then you will need to scroll down past the members list of what ever group you happen to be on at that moment. and below that you will find members on line with icons to chat with any one online. I hope some of this helps.
Welcome to Constitution club. Sorry I missed your chat. I had walked away from my computer with out logging out and that is why it still showed as though I was still online. My name relates to my aging and not the state of the constitution. Our constitution is alive and well, we just need to enforce compliance. Thanks for being a patriot.
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the full details. Have a nice day Thanks God bless.
