If you think that everything in this country is just the way it should be, then you need to see this video. You may have seen it before, but I think we need to be reminded about violations as blatant as this one.

This guy needs to go after this cop and ALLL of the police officers involved at the scene AND the people all the way up the chain of command, from the judge, right up to the attorney General of Texas and beyond to anyone who was involved in any violations against him.

Here's another view of the situation.

  • I feel the anger in this person because he was arrested.  The police felt it also, no doubt, which encouraged them to not take chances with him.  I think this young man needs to mature and show much more willingness to  obey the policemen, without anger and without curse words, and with much more restraint/patience in his demeanor.

    MUCH MORE would have been accomplished.  RIGHT does not make immediate MIGHT, and as he matures, he will come to realize this.  Had he followed this advice, I believe the police would have understood the situation much better and even released him.

    • Behold,

      He was not angry until his rights were clearly being violated.

      Did you see the beginning? Let me show you what happened B-4 the cop clearly abandoned all forms of right and wrong.

      He assailed this man with force BEFORE the man did ANYTHING WRONG! And if you pause to read the police report, it is CLEAR that the officer BLATANTLY LIED in his report as to the facts according to his own dash cam video, which clearly shows that this man turned around to stop because he was told to stop, NOT in a threatening manner either, as the report states. The officer was sent to investigate a report of open carry. He mishandled the situation and the Citizen was well within his rights to do much more than he did to protect himself against this rogue cop who should be removed from any position in law enforcement.

  • First, if it is legal in Texas to open carry why was he stopped and questioned if he was not doing anything but walking with an exposed weapon? its legal.

    second,he is a holder of a ccw permit. local government issued.

    third, second amendment gives him the right. correction God gives him his rights the constitution just guarantees these rights.

    FOURTH how can he be arrested for resisting arrest before he is even arrested. Sounds like the police have things a little backwards to me. put the horse before the cart.

    Fifth and most important. Don't the police there take an oath of office? Does that oath state that they will support and defend the Constitution of the Untied States? If the answer is yes then it sounds like the only one guilty of committing a crime here was the officers for violating their oath of office.

    • Your fourth point is the best one. How can you resist being arrested when you there is no probable cause for being arrested in the first place?

  •  This is disturbing. "Maybe" he was baiting for an altercation to film. Be that as it may, why wasn't the Citizen allowed to continue on his way? At the very least, could the police have let this man be on his way immediately, or secondarily, after a brief five minute cursury visit at the precinct? "No harm, no foul, sorry for the inconvenience! Ya know how the natives can be restless at times!"

    1.) What's the difference between that "scary" black weapon and a hunting rifle? Should we paint them pink to make them less scary?

    2.) Why do we have Conceiled Carry Permits?

    3.) Why is it any different when we open-carry so all the World witnesses we are armed? Nothing to hide, it allows the public to be visually informed than if kept secretly hidden. Hidden is what criminals do.

    4.) If more than one cop is participating in an illegal arrest, is it a conspiracy violation also?

    5.) The police responded that they received a "citizen's report" of a man carrying a weapon. OK, they checked it out. Did he violate any laws or give the police or a concerned citizen probable cause that he previously committed, or was in the process of, a crime?

    The police dash cam video of the same incident. Read the court summary below the video.

    1.) What does this say about our corporate administrative courts and citizen juries following a judge's instructions? This was in a Texas court!

    2.) Are the public citizens successfully indoctrinated that unlawful police activity is automatically justified and excused?

    3.) Why is the "official" police dash cam video so short? All it "officially" documents is a guy with a firearm and police taking it away. Where's the important part where the lawful Citizen demands his Rights?

    To respectfully reply to Russell's valid assessment. The police don't need to understand the situation, they NEED to understand the law. It's what they do! The law is finite, everything else is extra information.

    • really?  "The police don't need to understand the situation?"  I think under the circumstances, there WAS room for the police to UNDERSTAND the situation.  The traffic where they were appeared to be at a minimum as well as the possibility for  other distractions.....There definitely WAS TIME AND OPPORTUNITY  to explain in a NORMAL CALM VOICE what he was objecting to without the CURSE WORDS AND without the PENT UP anger!  Just my opinion.  TREAT THE POLICE LIKE REAL  HUMAN BEINGS, NOT INSTRUMENTS OF JUSTICE ALONE, when you have the opportunity to do so, and he did, but felt "right made might!"  The policemen were NOT stupid but were being treated as if they were.  He might have started with showing his concern for his child's safety over his seemingly loss of freedom.

       Born and raised in Texas.  :)

      • Hey Russel,

        Are you watching the same video I saw? I heard no curse words from anyone and that's beside the point anyway.

        "There definitely WAS TIME AND OPPORTUNITY  to explain in a NORMAL CALM VOICE..."

        Yea, there sure was time for rational behaviour. By the COP! Did you see the same assault I did? As an Officer of the "LAW", you ask questions to determine reasonable search necessity. This was mishandled at best by the "officer". He simply asked what the situation was and before any real dialogue could take place he began putting his hands on the weapon and the citizen BEFORE any rational behaviour could take place. Here an example of what SHOULD have happened. He could have said;

        "Well sir, we had a report of a guy with a big gun and the caller felt as though it needed investigating so that's why I'm here. If you could perhaps just shoulder the weapon behind you it would not appear so threatening."

        That said, he could have ascertained the situation properly and he would have come to the conclusion with a short conversation that;

        1. The guy was a veteran with a right to carry attitude, and;
        2. Doing nothing wrong, and;
        3. Sent him on his way with his LEGAL weapon stowed on his back. No harm, no foul. NO PROBLEMS, because
        4. The guy was doing NOTHING illegal or unlawful. PERIOD!

        So if you're watching the same video I'm watching, then you need to put your glasses on and your hearing aid in.

      • To Behold Russel,

        It sounds as though you have a problem with the guy's attitude more than anything. Since when is any attitude a legal matter? I think the First Amendment covers this question adequately. Where was the probable cause to so much as ask a question if open carry is legal? The fact that he carried a firearm is not enough!

        Using logic to the contrary, anyone driving a car should also be stopped and questioned! Cops and all LE have become thugs! They commit murder with impunity and the courts sit idly watching the USSA become a militarized police state.

        Go ahead, bow down and suck-up to the real criminals and be afraid Russell, be very afraid because it's people like you who think cops enjoy an exalted status when, in fact, they are public employees paid to SERVE the citizens!

        I am also a native Texan and I hope most Texans have more spine than you!

        •   ha!  My spine is fine!  :)

          Proverbs 16:18-25  This should cover it.  Read and absorb!

          • Spine made of cooked spaghetti, LOL!!
