The Holocaust

What an interesting viewpoint!

What really died at Auschwitz? Here's an interesting viewpoint The following is a copy of an article written by Spanish writer Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez and published in a Spanish newspaper on Jan.15 2011. It doesn't take much imagination to extrapolate the message to the rest of Europe - and possibly to the rest of the world.

THIS WAS IN A SPANISH NEWSPAPER:

"EUROPEAN LIFE DIED IN AUSCHWITZ"
By Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez

I walked down the street in Barcelona and suddenly discovered a terrible truth - Europe died in Auschwitz ... We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a culture, thought, creativity and talent. We destroyed the chosen people; truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who changed the world.

And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the disease of racism, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.

They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime. Shut up in the apartments they receive free from the government, they plan the murder and destruction of their naive hosts.

And thus, in our misery, we have exchanged culture for fanatical hatred, creative skill for destructive skill, intelligence for backwardness and superstition. We have exchanged the pursuit of peace of the Jews of Europe and their talent, for a better future for their
children, for their determined clinging to life because life is holy, for those who pursue death, for people consumed by the desire for death for themselves and others, for our children and theirs.

What a terrible mistake was made by miserable Europe.

A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves. Recently, the UK debated whether to remove The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offends' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred. It is not removed as yet. However, this is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.

It is now more than sixty years after the Second World War in Europe. This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, twenty million Russians, ten million Christians, and nineteen-hundred Catholic priests who were 'murdered, raped, burned, starved and beaten, experimented on and humiliated.' Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' it is
imperative to make sure the world never forgets.

  • A Vow Not to Forget Auschwitz

Survivors, Others Mark Anniversary of Death Camp Liberation

    By Julie Rasicot

    Special to The Washington Post
    Thursday, February 3, 2005; Page GZ03

For 85-year-old Steve Akerman, there was no more important place to be than seated in the pews of the B'nai Israel Congregation for the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the Nazi death camp in Poland.

Akerman, a Silver Spring resident and native of the former Czechoslovakia, can remember "like it was yesterday" the years he spent as a young Jew working in forced-labor camps during World War II, hoping not to die.

Manny Helzner sang with the Jewish Community Chorus of Washington last Thursday at B'nai Israel Congregation in Rockville. (Rafael Crisostomo For The Washington Post)

Sixty-five of Akerman's relatives perished at the hands of the Nazis and their allies. He and four of his sisters survived and made it to the United States.

And so Akerman came to the Rockville temple last Thursday to remember not only the more than 1 million people who died at Auschwitz-Birkenau between 1940 and 1945, but the 6 million victims of the Holocaust.

"Once in a while we need to give remembrance and the history of it," Akerman said. "I'm hoping and praying that this does not repeat itself."

Akerman joined hundreds of people, including several dozen survivors of the concentration camps, at the commemoration, which was sponsored by the Holocaust Commission of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington.

Andrew Stern, president of the council, opened the program by noting that marking the anniversary was "bittersweet" because an anniversary "usually conjures up feelings of joy."

"But this is tempered with sadness. Sadness for those we have lost and what will never be," he told the audience. "What it must have been like for those who faced freedom, but who faced freedom without a sister, a brother."

Michael E. Siegel, chairman of the council's Holocaust Commission, reminded the crowd that when the Russian soldiers, followed by the Americans, arrived at Auschwitz and saw the horrors of the camp, "they could hardly believe their eyes." Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower came to the camp so he could bear witness should others later try to claim that places such as Auschwitz did not exist, Siegel said.

"Now in 2005, there are attempts to deny what happened, just as Eisenhower predicted," Siegel said. "But we know the truth. Auschwitz has become the symbol of terror and genocide. So we gather tonight to remind the world of the horror."

The commemoration was punctuated by song, prayer, poetry and a somber reading of the Holocaust kaddish, a prayer for those who died in the camps.

Washington lawyer Nathan Lewin, the keynote speaker, spoke of his family's experiences and the loss of both his grandfathers and other family members.

Lewin's maternal grandfather, Naftali Sternheim, was killed at Auschwitz, and his paternal grandfather, Rabbi Aaron Lewin, was hung by a Ukrainian mob.

"Before you today stands a grandfather who never really knew his own grandfathers. Both men were murdered when they were younger than I am today," said Lewin, 69, of Potomac. "Both were men of great distinction, leaders in their communities, whose lives were brutally extinguished only because they were Jews."

  • Interesting ... so should we begin the Nazi solution again only gas all the Muslims instead?? I think not ... Or we might as well forget the Holocaust ever happened ...

    • Sorry you do not understand the impact of the HOLOCOST on any society.

Are you new to research or have you been through 5 years or more already.

Give us some basis for your understanding and the comment you made.

"Gas Muslims or forget the Holocaust does not compute" in regards of the NAZI autocracy.

Many of us know who is still pushing the NAZI regime.

      • Arbeit macht frei. For a jew to work, especially for the goyim,  is like a death sentence. Thus the 6 million. Talk about hyper-inflation!.

      • Explain it to me Robert. Are you suggesting genocide is an acceptable solution to the 'problem'?

        • No Tim,

THEY ARE! The Muslim answer is always convert or die. THEY are the ones who are suggesting murder is the answer. Murdering the murderer is the only answer left open. The rules of engagement are always set by the aggressor. You tell me that if someone said to you, "convert or die" you would simply give in? Or would you try to defend yourself by killing the man since that is the only thing that will stop him from killing you?

          • There it is, exactly what I am speaking of. The very prime ingredient of the prejudices that feeds groups like the Nazis. "THEY ARE!" is exactly what I speak of, unbridled prejudice toward a race, or religious belief. Not all Muslims are radical, but you have no problem painting all with the same brush. Guilt is not an issue for you, so you have no problem punishing someone for others behaviors. As radical Muslims move forward, your actions convince those Muslims who have had no problem with us before to side with the radicals in their own defense. Your view only deepens the problems we have. But thats alright in your book, your friends and you enjoy slapping each other on the back and crowing about how wonderful you all are. If God ever decides He has had enough, I will not argue in your defense. You are as prejudice as evil will allow. Radical Muslims are the evil, not all Muslims! Radical Muslims ... and you!

            • I couldn't disagree more Tim.

You speak of prejudice, but that would suggest that they have been judged prior to earning the judgement. As  far as all Muslims go, until they all join my side they are on the radicals side. Last time I looked they all read the same book. Their particular sect is not relevant, but this fact is. 99% of all the violence on Planet Earth right now is being promulgated under Allah and the Koran. Don't paint me with a prejudice brush. I just calls 'em as I sees 'em. If "all Muslims" don't wish to be included in the category of their radical counterparts then it's high time they stood up and yelled from every mountain top a complete renunciation of the tactics used by them and their radical behavior.

Don't accuse me of pre-judging those who have voluntarily defined themselves as dangerous to me just because I'm a Jew.

        • Dear Tim, I am not; even without knowing what problem you are referring to. I would, however prefer my race not be extinguished by the perpetuation of a big lie, that has led to the demise of millions of white Christians before and after that big lie. Of course , there were many others (big lies), before and after. Since I started keeping tract of  "holocaust survivors" 55 years ago, I have noted no less than 8,734,162 holocaust survivor stories. An old T.V. series called the Naked City, started out saying "There are 8,000,000 stories in the Naked City, this is one of them". The Naked City referring to New York City. Well, the 6,000,000 jewish  deaths are well beyond exposed as a naked lie. Why perpetuate it here?

          • So sentencing the innocent is no problem for you ... or Morton ...
