Trump family history - concise version.
Donald Trump's grandparents immigrated to the U.S. from Alsace (Kallstadt, Germany) which throughout history has been alternately French and German. The Trumps are German, originally speaking the same German dialect as the Amish of Lancaster County, PA.His maternal grandparents lived in Scotland.
Freiderich (Drumph) Trump made a small but respectable fortune in the late 19th Century in the mining boom towns of the American Northwest. He returned to Germany to marry his childhood neighbor, Elizabeth Christ. The newly married Trumps resettled in the Borough of Queens NY. Freidrich was establishing a real estate business in Queens when he died suddenly at age 49 (1918). In 1920, at the age of 15, Fred Trump (Freiderich's son and Donald's father), started a business partnership with his widowed mother called Elizabeth Trump & Son.
This business was built upon the real estate holdings that his father, Frederich, had amassed (worth about $500,000.00 in today's dollars). This is the original "seed money" of the current Trump organization.Elizabeth and Fred remained close business partners her entire life.(she died in 1966).
In 1936 Fred Trump (age 31) married Mary Ann MacLeod (age 24) of Stoneaway Scotland. During the depression, Fred Trump built and successfully operated a supermarket (a new concept at the time) which was sold to King Kullen Co.
and operates this day. Fred Trump made a lot of money building housing for the military during WWII. Fred Trump was investigated by the Justice Department for making"excessive profits" from government contracts. All (or nearly all) of the building of Elizabeth Trump & Son's non-government building was residential property in Queens and Fred Trump died in 1999 (age 94) - beloved and worth between $250
million and $300 million. His wife died a year later.

There are at least:
Editor's Note - This begs the question,
What do we know about O'Bama? And while we're at it,
What the hell do we know about ANY other President who isn't already dead and how many of them have a history like this guy?
It most certainly DOES tell us all we need to know about his character and that seems to be what this man was elected on. I am no Trumpy, not by any stretch, but our Founding Fathers made it a point to mention that self government was only for a moral and honest people.
They recognized that corruption would always be there and for a free people to govern themselves, they would need a solid means to "throw off such government" that "becomes destructive of these ends...".
Let's do THAT!
I just plain don't understand people today. You know, the ones who live in glass houses. Are you looking for someone without blemish? I am sorry to have to tell you this, but the only man that ever was perfect has been crucified and risen from the dead. He is Jesus Christ, He is in Heaven, sitting on the right hand of God the Father. He is waiting for us to ask Him for the solution to the problem.
I wonder if there is a resentment, or jealously due to the fact Trump has accomplished, for himself, that which most can only dream of. He is able to barge through life feeling a little above the rest. It is human nature. I am looking for him to use this uppity attitude against the bottom feeding slime that is trying to destroy our great Republic.
Maybe everybody would prefer a milk toast [candidate], who swishes a limp wrist at the evil. Oh, we already have one of those who has NO care for our God and Country. In this time of confronting evil, we need strength for the fight. In the past, no nonsense types like the great WW II Generals, were not pleasing to most, but they got the job done.
I am not too swift, so I am really not clear about what is so disgusting about Mr. Trump. Is it the accusations that he has said things about women and/or minorities that misfits the political correct nonsense of the day?
Next time you are sitting at the bar, having a beer with the guys, listen to the comments. Hey, what do you all really think, I am all ears. Really I would rather hear about the impossible task before him and the possible solutions.
I'll bet there are a lot of brilliant people out there who have no faults, but know all the answers. Who knows, these solutions may trickle their way through the web and Trump's helpers may see one of your solutions as a revolution and make everything better. I pray.
If I may Robert,
My issues with "The Donald" are based in BANKING! I fully expect that he will not address the following;
Wrong Joe ; it's beginning to look like our newly elected " Eagle " is turning into a flip / flopping chicken .
He's not prosecuting the Clintons ; maybe he's been given the Scalia message ?
What do Donald Trump, Jesse Ventura, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronald Reagan, Steve Largent, Sonny Bono, Clint Eastwood, Fred Grandy and incumbents have in common? Name Fame. In other words, their names were famous, but voters knew little to nothing about them when the voters voted for them.
Name Fame (also known as name recognition) is the reason celebrities/stars win. They get lots of media attention (articles, stories, mentions, interviews, videos, pictures) because they are public figures
Well in that case I think we should just go straight to Hollywood for our next candidate then, eh?
