Article 4 - Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
In a Republic, the elected Representatives of the people have the authority to vote for and on behalf of the people. In a Democracy, all of the people vote for or against proposed legislation and the majority wins.
The government created by the founding fathers was to be a Republic and not a Democracy. Our government was to be governed by the rule of law not the will of the majority. In an unbridled democracy the majority has the power to suspend the rights of the minority.
In California and many other states, the voters are permitted to vote on ballot initiatives. This process is an example of democracy in action. States that allow for statewide initiatives are not operating as a Republican form of government.
The members of our state legislatures were elected to make the decisions for the people and if they cannot do their assigned job, they should be voted out of office.

It has been ruled in Jersey City v. Hague that the People don't have to wait for elections to remove a public servant from office for breaching his fiduciary duty and violating his oath, but should bring criminal charges and court action immediately for such violations and remove him/her from office immediately!
The angry supreme court judge stated "It is the People's duty!"
The People in every state need to go after ALL traitor public servants who violate their oath to protect, defend and uphold the Constitution, and who breach their fiduciary duties as a public servant, breach the public trust, and that are committing treason and advocating the overthrow of our government.
Some evidence that can be used against these traitors for example are their voting records. Simple.
The traitors that need to be immediately removed from office are the ones that voted in any way to violate the People's rights and who violated their oaths to protect, defend and uphold the Constitution.
These traitors are the ones who are advocating the overthrow of our republic form of government by their traitorous actions. Such traitors are the ones who voted for gun bans, violating the second amendment, traitors who voted for the kidnapping and indefinite detention of Americans (NDAA 2012) and other "laws" such as listing the American People as the "ENEMY" in the Trading with the Enemy Act amended in 1933. This Act defined the Americas People as "ENEMIES" of the Federal Government.
If We The People in every state would all do this everytime a public servant violates his/her oaths, we would set examples for all the other public servants to follow and we will rid our government of traitors.This needs to be implemented from our local (city/towns, counties, states, etc) government all the way up to the president.The reason these traitors are doing what they're doing is because we the People are allowing it to continue with no ramifications our consequences. This is how we are being taken over by outside forces e.g. criminal bankers, UN, etc.
We the People are allowing it to happen and the criminals see it and are taking advantage of it...big time!
The total end to our freedoms are very near. Closer than you think!
We the People need to put a stop to this immediately or we will loose this once great country to these criminals running the show behind the curtains.

these so-called good workers we thought we hired to run our business are engaged in criminal activities because of our lack of monitoring them.
they need to be stopped now. we need to create these watch-dog committees to ensure they are upholding their oaths and doing their jobs correctly and honestly.
we have entrusted them for far too long without checking on them and look where they got us and our once great country. they need to be watched like our little children playing in the park to make sure they don't step out of line. they need time out! some needed spankings!
we the People needed to organize through websites like these and form these oversight watch-dog committees if we want our government to function properly. we the People need to get active. enough with the distractions that were designed to keep us distracted while the criminals quietly takeover.
the house just passed the CISPA internet takeover bill that will destroy the Peoples ability to organize and exercise our right to free speech and assembly.
this is in direct violation of the first amendment to the constitution they swore to defend protect and uphold.
they violations will continue until we the People put a stop to it.

The progressives want to convert the Constitutional Republic in to a Corporate Democracy and allowing the people to vote directly on state wide ballot initiatives opens the door to Democracy. When the will of the majority can trump the rule of law and abuse the rights of the minority of Constitutional Republic will be just a distant memory.
You're right about that,but,at least in MY area,the Sheriffs' budget is extremely strained already,and as we have one of the Largest Counties in the US and probably the most square miles per Officer,I'm not sure this will be an option, It MAY be possible for him to "authorize" civilians to do a lot of the leg work. I get the impression that a lot of this can only be handled by the Sheriff himself though.

We the People need to form these watch-dog committees in our own communities ourselves. the sheriff will only be used to enforce it as they already do as part of their duties. from the city's lowest public servant all the way up the chain to the most important public servant e.g. judges, prosecutors, senators, congressmen, governors, attorney general's, Secretary of state, treasurer, etc., etc. basically anyone who swore an oath to protect, defend and uphold the Constitution.
Every single one of our public servants will be held to the same standard of ethics. whoever violates their oaths and breaches their fiduciary duty and breach the public's trust will have criminal charges brought against them for these violations which their actions constitutes advocating the overthrow of our government and treason.
This watch-dog system will straighten up ever single public servant in our country and at the same time return our country to the greatness it was meant to be, by returning to our constitutional principles and sticking to them.
This will act as a wake up call to all public servants to operate in honesty or have consequences by we the People, the real original power and authority where the government gets its power from, the consent of the People.
