Think For Yourself

8575494652?profile=originalThe principles of sound government are like the principles of mathematics. There are equations in both that are always either true or false. Two plus two is always four and it always will be. A majority in Congress cannot repeal the laws of nature nor can they lawfully infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

We as individuals were granted rights by our Creator, but with these rights came the responsibility to preserve, protect and defend them.  As we our accountable to our Creator, the government is accountable to the people.

Once we created the government of the United States it became the responsibility of the elected officials to strictly obey the rules spelled out in the Constitution and it became our responsibility to monitor their behavior and to hold them accountable.

By failing to hold them accountable, we have given our consent to their abuse and have no one to blame but ourselves. The problems we face today are the direct result or our ignorance, apathy and unwillingness to assume our God given responsibilities.

There is a natural tendency on the part of man to let our trusted leaders do our thinking for us. It is much easier one to play the game of follow the leader than it is to think and act for oneself. I don't know of a single group or organization that has a monopoly on the truth. Every organization I have encountered teaches some correct principles, but none of them are 100% in compliance with the natural laws that govern the universe.

In order to be responsible, we as individuals need to study the facts and draw our own conclusions. Those in the media who mold public opinion are masters of telling us a portion of the truth so that we think it is impossible for us to draw proper conclusions.

When you trust your leaders and do as you are told you are like the sheep that follow their leaders into the slaughter house.

  • Thinking for yourself = Self Governance.

Is there a clearer way I may present that?  I do not think there is one.  Then the question is what is the foundation of principles for one to govern him/her self?

  • Nice rigs, and all, this is The Constitutional Club website isn't it? Back on topic please.
