CONSTITUTION CHALLENGE

What is a Constitution Challenge?

A Constitution Challenge is a 25 question quiz that tests your knowledge of the U.S. Constitution in an interactive and entertaining. Challenges take about 5-10 minutes to complete and pull from a large library of questions. You can challenge individuals or compete against entire teams

  • Individual Challenges:
You can challenge one or more individuals in a single challenge. As the challenge creator you are responsible setting up the challenge by supplying your opponents with a join code. The easiest and recommended way to do this is by entering your opponent's email address in the Create a Challenge page of our website. We will send them an email with a unique join code and a link to the Constitution Challenge website. Alternatively, you can write down the provided codes and give them to your opponents manually.

  • Team Challenges:
You can put together a team of two or more individuals to challenge other teams of individuals. Each team must have a team leader who is responsible for setting up the challenge by entering their name, email address, and team name and providing a team join code to all their team members. The team leader who creates the challenge will also invite other team leads by entering their email addresses, which will invite them to the challenge and provide a link where they can enter their team name. Team leads can email members of their team join codes and a link to the challenge or manually give out the team join code. (Individual members of a team will all use the same code.)

How do I get a join code?

Join codes are generated when someone initiates a challenge, which you can do on the homepage by clicking "Create a Challenge." If someone has invited you to the challenge they will provide you with a challenge code by:

  1. Entering your email address when they create the challenge -- then we’ll send you an email with a link to the site and your join code OR
  2. Sending you a join code personally (through text, email, etc).

A join code can be entered on the home page or log-in page to accept and begin a challenge.

How many different challenges are possible to take?

There are 25 different quizzes that can be taken.

What if I lose my join code?

Oh no! There is no way for us to retrieve a join code unless you have created a user account. Check with the individual who provided you with the code.

Why do challenges have expiration dates?

Like most great things, Constitution Challenge must come to an end so we can tally up the scores and congratulate the winners. The individual who initiates the challenge will set an expiration date, and you can view it when you begin the challenge. Individuals with a user account can see all of their challenges and expiration dates.

Can I extend the challenge expiration date once the challenge has begun?

Unfortunately, no. The individual who initiated the challenge sets the expiration date and once the challenge has been created, the date is locked in.

Can I stop mid-challenge and come back and finish my challenge later?

If you have a user account you can stop in the middle of the challenge and resume your challenge later. If you do so, remember that the challenge has a specific expiration date and challenge must be completed by that date to be scored.
