Discretionary spending is the part of the U.S. federal budget that Congress appropriates each year. For Fiscal Year 2020, President Donald Trump requested $1.426 trillion. 

Mandatory spending is estimated to be $2.841 trillion for FY 2020. The two largest mandatory programs are Social Security and Medicare. That's 60% of all federal spending. It's almost three times more than the military budget

.In 2015 corporations received $1.2 trillion in tax breaks and subsidies and up to $1.6 trillion in 2020.

Corporate donations to political candidates in 2016

Microsoft re subsidies and donated approximately $15 million to political candidates,but received over $42 million in ,tax breaks and subsidies

The Federal Budget deficit in 2018 wass $779 Billion. If Congress ended corporate welfare there would be no deficit.
