Doctrine of Emergency
We are in trying times where people are acting like the very sheep we thought they were. There are good and bad things that are occurring as a result of the scare. So, since you never want to look a gift horse in the mouth, we are attempting to embrace the benefits and take Raum Emanuel's advice.
"You never want to let a serious crisis go to waste."
We believe it is time to boldly go where everyone is afraid to go. Outside. The Event 201 publication proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that they knew this was a great way to CREATE a crisis as well as find new and inventive ways to exploit it. Although the recommendations sound reasonable, they are not being followed.
Instead, little dictators have popped there heads out of their little holes. It's high time we do something about it. When a "Governor" places him or herself above the law, using the excuse of "emergency", they have done several things;
- They have automatically suspended the restrictions of their State's Constitution and the Union's Constitution.
- They have declared themselves and their cabinets to be King and Court.
- They have assumed that they have the authority to act thus in the first place, And;
- They have removed freedom from the people and are now ignoring every single restriction upon their behavior.
The authority to determine what is and is not an "emergency", belongs with the people, NOT any government. This idea is reinforced in a familiar quote;
"Those who would trade essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither freedom, nor security." - Benjamin Franklin

The federal and state governments are tasked with protecting our mutual borders against enemies. Human enemies, not viral ones. It is a basic human right to get sick and die if we wish.
