So what are the rules of engagement for Israel? How many rockets before they shoot back? Or should they simply remain passive targets?
When the Israelis commence to strap on suicide bombs in a fervent zeal to promote Judaism through out the world at the point of a sword then perhaps I might be dissuaded to relinquish my concern for the State of Israel. Yasser Arafat presented two entirely opposed faces, one for the West and another to his followers, perhaps if he had been a honest representative of his people, the court of public opinion might have viewed him in a different light. The situation in the Middle East will continue to be a festering sore on the world until such time as the acts of violence cease and a real accommodation commences. Wiping Israel off the face of the map is not the way to begin a dialogue.
Maybe after Iran nukes an Israeli city opinions will change!?! Must it take an Israeli Pearl-Harbor?
Pearl Harbor was a legitimate military target on a country that showed aggressive hostile action against the attackers. Amassing it's navy and moving it thousands of miles closer. Conducting underground intelligence operations in bunkers in the Philippines. Cutting off oil supplies to a trading partner, who loved baseball and many things western, at war with a communist aggressor, who was starving and murdering it's own people. As to the nuking of Israeli cities, maybe the world would find out it would be a lot more peaceful without Israel.
This may or may not shock you sir, but I believe you are an "America Hater" and the world would find out it would be a lot more peaceful without you and your kind!!!
My family has lived in this country almost 400 years. Not a horse thief amongst us. More than a few builders, soldiers, patriots and regular working stiffs. Explain how telling the truth about a matter makes anyone an "America Hater". Actually, I am an America exhorter and admonisher. Praising America when she does well and righteously and correcting Her when She goes astray.
Your problem is Mr. Stoeppitmannnn, you don't know what's right and wrong pal. Your view puts you on their side! I hate to tell you this but America didn't exist 400 years ago. My family goes back to New Amsterdam around 1620 and many fought in the Revolutionary War. You probably think that was a mistake too... we must have went astray again!

I think it would be difficult to be your pal when name calling is your claim to fame. I still wish to bring forth truth, and if you find me in error please point out where. Actually 1620 is when my family arrived from England via Holland where they sought refuge until they could get to America to practice their mild Protestantism and thrive or die on their own land. So thanks to Holland and the Dutch reform church. Tho' my second reply was only 5 lines you managed to not comprehend one of them. By 1620 this continent was well beyond being referred to as Terra Incognito; tho' I never referred to it being called America. Note soldiers and patriots in my ancestory. why my Grandmother was a member of the D.A.R., why my generational Grandfather fought in the Western army in the early 1840's and served in the California legislature in the 1850's and my own Father serving in New Guinea and the Philippines for four years straight, in army intelligence.
