Section 1 of the 13th Amendment
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
When men and women are forced to labor for 114 days each year without compensation to fund the government the 13th Amendment is being violated.
Section 8: Powers of Congress
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.
To borrow Money on the credit of the United States to pay the debts, provide for the common defense and promote the general welfare. To spend money on anything else is unconstitutional.
