For nearly two years Cliven Bundy were incarcerated without ever being found guilty of any crime. The 13th Amendment clearly states that a man can not be lawfully detained unless they have been convicted of a crime in a court of law
They were denied bail and were subject to cruel and unusual strip searches and solitary confinement which are violations of the 8th amendment and they were denied a speedy ttial which is a violation of the 6th amendment.
Why is it that the Supreme Law of the Land is does not have standing in the Federal District Courts. Eventually Judge Navaroo dismissed all charges after flagramtly violating her oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constsitution.
She was guilty of judicial misconduct and should have been held accoutable. The Constitution states that Federal Court Judges serve for periods of good behavior and she should have been removed from the bench and put on trial for judicial misconduct.
