Our founding fathers wanted to create a government that was founded upon the principles of Natural Law. They understood that in order to promote peace, prosperity and freedom that adherence to the laws of nature would be required.
God's Law treat everyone equally, while Civil Laws written by the legislatures of men favor some at the expense of others. When the legislatures of men pass unjust laws that contradict the laws of nature , it is our right and our duty to refuse to comply.
Civil Laws allow the rich and powerful individuals to exploit the masses. Natural Law protects the rights of the people while positive law seeks to control people's behavior.
