A police chief was detained and harassed by federal agents while traveling to a constitutional convention before returning home to be told he was being placed on administrative leave and ordered to disband his police department after signing a pledge to uphold the bill of rights.
Police Chief Shane Harger of the Jemez Springs, NM Police Department was flying out of Albuquerque Airport last week on his way to a Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) convention taking place in Las Vegas. CSPOA is an organization headed up by Sheriff Richard Mack under which law enforcement officers gather to re-affirm their commitment to uphold and defend the Constitution.
Before passing security, Harger was approached by a TSA agent who asked the police chief to show his credentials. Moments later, a man claiming to be a “federal agent” also asked to see Harger’s credentials before telling him he was a “person of interest.” The federal agent then demanded to know where Harger was traveling to and why.
When Harger told the federal agent he was attending the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association Convention in Las Vegas, he was detained for 35 minutes before finally being allowed to board the airplane.
On Tuesday January 28, a day after his return, Harger was placed on administrative leave and ordered by Sandoval County, NM, Sheriff Douglas C. Wood to disband his entire police department due to his “political affiliations”.
What were his political affiliations? While attending the convention, Harger, along with 38 other police officers, signed a declaration affirming their pledge to “obey and observe” the U.S. Constitution, in addition to refusing to carry out unconstitutional orders such as gun confiscation without constitutionally compliant warrants, violations of the 4th amendment without probable cause, detainment or incarceration of citizens without probable cause, or working with the military for domestic law enforcement.
In other words, Harger was targeted for federal harassment and subsequently suspended for re-affirming his belief in the very Constitution he took an oath to uphold and protect in order to become a police officer in the first place.
“Despite having received a meritorious commendation from the Mayor of Jemez Springs on January 22, 2014, it seems that no one in the village government is willing to come to the assistance of Harger. It appears that Harger’s stance to defend and uphold the Constitution has put him and his entire department of ten part-time and volunteers out of business,” writes Vincent Finelli.
“I was at the convention and I never saw nor heard anyone say nor do anything that was a violation of any law. The CSPOA convention was an assembly of peace-loving Americans who just wanted to uphold their oath of office, that being to support and defend the US Constitution and Bill of Rights for all of us, We The People,” adds Finelli.
Harger’s treatment is yet another disturbing indication that the federal government, in addition to law enforcement authorities, view Americans who support the bill of rights as domestic extremists. Harger’s position as Chief of Police also shows that they are desperate to prevent citizens who identify as constitutionalists, tea partiers or libertarians from holding any position of influence within law enforcement or society in general.
Harger’s potential dismissal for his patriotic and constitutional “political affiliations” is a chilling reminder that such positions are not only not welcomed but actively discriminated against by the federal government.

It is the purpose of federal government to eventually disband all County Sheriff's organization...As Obama has done with top military leaders who also support our US Constitution...He has put them out to pasture keeping only those who could abscond our US Constitution to its destruction...Any peace officers who supports our Constitution will be singled out and removed from his/her duties for no other reason than "political affiliations"...This is a disgust...These individuals being labeled a threat to the sanctions of a tyrannical government...These tactics reek of the old Communist platform of control by those who would otherwise abandon liberty and justice with the dismissal of those who would support the "will of the people"...In this case it would be those who are supportive of our US Constitution as we are witnessing with the removal of Police Chief Shane Harger for pledging to defend our Civil Liberties and the Freedoms we enjoy as "Free" men against those who would destroy our "Bill of Rights"...In their efforts to commence their evil rule upon the citizenry of this country...This is truely a sad state of affairs for those of us who hold this document and our freedom's dear to our hearts...Those TSA agents who detained PC Shane Harger should be fired for harassment and intimidation of a US citizens...Having no legal grounds to detain him...Or to question his travels...Or to question his current activities...Who also had no right to question his so called "political affiliations"...This is a scandal worse than that of the IRS attacking those members of various tea party groups who were/are seeking legal tax free exemptions for their organizations...This is a sad state of affairs for all concerned to include "we the people!"

This style of writing to express a point using "Those who" all over the place is very general and unclear most of the time. I think I know "who" you mean, but there is almost always a more direct way to say exactly "who" you mean. Name names as it were. Then you will be more direct about whom you are talking. Thx.

Police Chief Shane Harger of Jemez Springs should collect the names of all federal officers that were involved and file a CIVIL SUIT against them in local district court for millions. The feds overstepped their constitutional authority which has affected him personally.
Be sure you get the case before a sympathetic circuit judge.
This is where a Common Law Grand Jury would come into effective use.
Give me some information damn it! I need phone numbers and addresses from every single person responsible for this injustice, including every town board member who stood by sitting on their hands! I need every Sheriffs name who stood by and watched while the Constitution was trashed! I need newspaper contacts who are responsible for shielding criminal activity! I need whatever name and address of anyone responsible for allowing this to happen in their government! I especially need the name of the local head of the Federal agency so I can point out to him his violation of Constitutional rights which he swore to uphold! If we are ever able to prosecute this idiot we will need proof that he was aware! We can do nothing without names! Gimme, gimme, gimme! Then every single last one of you mother lovin' mud puppies needs to flood all of them with letters and phone calls till their ears bleed! Once we have those contacts, consider this ... this is the first shot ladies and gentlemen, respond now or forever hold your tongues!

The irony here is palpable. If police departments are nothing more than corporate extensions of a fraudulently conceived governmental overlay that have devolved from the Organic Act of 1871 and all the other phony federal legislation that has followed, specifically the Buck Act, as i believe they are, then the feds have authority over their "downlines". That is not to say they have jurisdiction to act as they did. By authority here, i mean to say, They could have ordered him to stand down from afar. They could ultimately order the city corporation's officers to disband their creation; but if any of them understood their own inherent authority, they could easily throw off the yoke that so easily binds them. If they had a local Board of Review and a Sheriff who also knows his authority, things would have been a lot different.
It's not just a question of political affiliations, it's a matter of ignorance of the law, especially the law of agency and constitutional authority.
