Jesus taught us to love one another, but we have also been taught that in order to succeed in life we must compete against our neighbor for the bounties of life. Wealth is not measured by how much we accumulate, it is measured in how much we give. Sadly, the majority of people love money more than they love people.
In order to change the world, we need to change the way we treat one another. Instead of concentrating our efforts on accumulating things, we need to dedicate ourselves to the service of others.
Instead of competing with our brothers, we need to share what we have with those in need. Our capacity to give is limited to that which we have. Unfortunately, most of us have big hearts, big dreams and very little money. I am looking for those who have a sincere desire to serve humanity. If money is your God you are destined to fail in your endeavors.
Most people see an apple and eat it, but an apple contain dozens of seeds that have the potential to produce many orchards and thousands of bushels of fruit.
As a project manager we are not merely giving a hungry man a fish, we are teaching him how to fish.
We live in a world where most of the people are obsessed with accumulating wealth rather than accumulating friends. A true disciple of Jesus Christ understands that happiness is not determined by how much we have, it comes from how much we are willing to give.
