There are tens of thousands of homeless veterans wandering the streets of California. The government continues to spend billions of dollars to provide foreign aid and to manufacture weapons of mass destruction while they ignore the plight of our veterans.
Robert Newman and I recently visiting the former March Air Force Base in Riverside County and took a tour of the facility being build to provide housing to homeless veterans.

EXPANSION UNDERWAY AT MARCH AIR FORCE BASE
U.S.VETS is proud to partner with the Coachella Valley Housing Coalition and March Joint Powers Authority to build 175 units at March Air Reserve Base, home to U.S.VETS – Inland Empire. Once completed this new project, called March Veteran Village, will expand affordable and transitional housing for low-income and homeless veterans in Riverside, one of the places it’s needed most.
As a candidate for Governor in California in 2018, Dr. Robert Newman supports the U.S. Vets organization in their efforts serve the needs of our homeless and disabled veterans.
