We might have a small but significant issue to overcome before NDAA can be Unconstitutional - technically we are still at WAR with North Korea - so the War powers of the Executive are still operative. There was never a Surrender and therefore the war is still active.
I still don't know what prompted the Congress to start this NDAA and why the Majority of the Members voted for the End of Liberty do you ????
This is why I say they will never do anything but give us Lip Service because they all want to Contains us !!!!!
They want power over all things, businesses, people, resources, water, food, government land, government health service, government economic control, government energy control, - yes they want more power than King George had over the colonist.
So whats in their sights that scaring them into thinking its OK to End Individual Liberties ????
Total FEDERAL centralized GOVERNMENT owning and controlling the element of production, health care, welfare, schools, lifestyles, dress codes [coming?], they want cradle to grave control over all citizens of any State.

I'm sorry Tony,
But I have been saying this since 1997, when I read an article called National Emergency in reference to the FDR Administration and Presidential Proclamations 2038, 2039, and 2040 and the War Powers Act of March 4th, 1933, ratified in Congress, March 9th, 1933. We have been in this DEFCON 5 state ever since.
We are AT WAR (declared by them, not us), with our own government and now with the passage of the NDAA we can be declared terrorists and held indefinitely with absolutely no standing to file a Writ of Habeus Corpus or Redress of Grievances. Can you say FEMA Camps?
As a side note I just voted in favor of re-electing Pat Toomey. He is going to hear from me I can assure you.
Wish that was the case but Congress approved and continues to approve FUNDING the war costs each year - therefore in the eyes of the Courts the WAR POWERS ACT is in effect.
Read Tony's post above - that is our problem friends. The Congress uses the WPA to avoid actually voting on a declaration of war. A war by any other name is still a WAR.
