The word united is not capitalized because it is an adjective .
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the unitted States of America.
When read the Preamble to the Constitution you will notice that they were trying create a more perfect union, not a more perfect nation.
The authors of the Constitution wanted to establish a system where liberty, equality and justice would reign supreme.
They wanted to provide for the common defense of the people and their rights not to provide for the defense of corporations.
The wanted to promote the general welfare not programs to benefit some at the expense of other. Providing benefits to benefit everyone is a legitimate function of government, but providing charity is not. Providing welfare to corporations benefit the few at the expense of the many.
They considered the redistribution of wealth is a system that is not only unconstitutional, it is immoral.

When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, it was not necessary for Congress to declare war. We don't need the authority from Congress or the President to defend ourselves.
We are authorized to use military force whenever we are attacked or when Congress believes there is an imminent threat that requires that we take military action, In that case it is necessary for Congress to declare war.
The President does not have the Constitutional authority invade other counties or drop bombs on them without a Congressional declaration of war.
The government of the united States is not authorized to provide financial aid to foreign countries. Powers not delegate are strictly prohibited.
