There are just laws that support the principles of liberty and there are unjust laws that promote tyranny. Laws that infringe on the rights of the people, are unconstitutional. It is the duty of responsible individuals to resist tyranny by refusing to comply with unjust laws.

If the Supreme Court was functioning properly, the Court would be the guardian of our liberty. Unfortunately this branch of government which was created to defend the Constitution does more to dismantle the Constitution than it does to support and defend it.

The authors of the Constitution identified two kinds of powers; those that are delegated and those that are not. The powers delegated to the government of the United States were few and any power not granted to the government were reserved to the states and to the people..

In Article III of the Constitution, defines the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court must confine its activities to issues on which they have jurisdiction. When the Court goes beyond its lawful jurisdiction, it destroys the Constitution which it was created to protect.

Article I Section 8 lists the powers granted to Congress by the states. Any power not on the list is prohibited. Today Congress is funding programs and projects that were not authorized in the Constitution. For example, there is no provision in the Constitution for a Department of Education. If the states and the people want the Department of Education is to exist we must propose and ratify an amendment authorizing it.

There is no provision in the Constitution for National Parks, therefore inorder to establish national parks it would take the ratification of an amendment to lawfully establish National Parks.

The CIA, FEMA, EPA, OSHA, FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are just a few agencies that were created to protect us, but none of them are provided for in the Constitution.
