8575561290?profile=originalThe Constitution does not need to be amended it simply needs to be enforced. The  vast majority of the people opposed to having an Article V Convention fear that Convention would become a runaway convention and that the delegates would have the make changes to the document that would threaten its very existence.  Due to the fact that the government violates the intent of its authors and we the people refuse to hold them accountable, the Constitution has become a meaningless piece of paper.

The legislators of the each of the states have the authority to determine which proposed amendments they could even consider.

If thirteen states authorized their delegates to only consider the issue of apportionment in the House and Senate all other  proposed amendments could never obtain the support of three fourths of the states.

All states that have already called for an Article V Convention should make it clear the their delegates could only address issues authorized by their state legislature.

Why is it the we fear a runaway convention that could easily be prevented, while we allow a runaway Congress, President and Supreme Court to violate the Constitution every time they take action?

Article V was written to protect the people if the states from a runaway Congress. In my opinion the treat of a runaway Congress is a far greater threat than a runaway convention.

Watch the following video and decide for yourself if the
Convention of the States would pose a serious threat.
 What is your opinion?

/center>I am against calling for a convention to pass a Balanced Budget Amendment or an Amendment to impose term limits on Congressmen. I would support calling a convention to deal with the lack of adequate representation in the House and proper representation in the Senate. The Constitution does not need to be amended, it needs to be enforced and government officials need to be held accountable when they violate their oath.
