In 1810 Congress approved of the Titles of Nobility Amendment and sent it on the states to be ratified. Thirteen of the states voted in favor of its ratification and it became the 13th Amendment.
Attorneys and anyone who owed allegiance to a foreign country was ineligible to service in any capacity of public trust.
Any government officials accepting a gift or any form of emoluments was punishable by loss of their citizenship.
Obviously there were many men in high places were attorneys who had sworn allegiance to the British Accredited Registry. One of these men was John Quincy Adams who at the time was the Secretary of State.
If the Amendment was not blocked, Adams would have lost his citizenship an the opportunity to become the sixth President of the United States.
The majority of men and women serving in Congress have are attorneys and have accepted financial support from foreign countries. Bill and Hillary Clinton have received hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign powers and have violated.
Article 1, Section 9, Clause 8. No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State..
"If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any title of nobility or honour, or shall without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any Emperor, King, Prince, or foreign Power, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them."
