By definition a terrorist is and individual that uses violence to achieve a political objective. When our founding fathers rebelled against the British we considered them to be patriots, but the British considered them to be terrorists.
When an individual from the Middle East kills an American we consider it an act of terrorism, but when our government kills innocent men, women in children in the around the world it is not.
