The Welfare State

There are only two kinds of welfare. One is Constitutional and the other is not. Welfare that benefits all of the people equally is identified in the Constitution as General Welfare, while schemes that redistribute the wealth of some  and  of the people at the expense of others is example of legal plunder.

Today we have two major political parties that are actively engaged in the redistribution of wealth. The democrats tend to favor programs that benefit the poor at the expense of the rich while the republican party tends to favor programs that benefit the rich at the expense of the poor.

Article I  Section 8  Clause 4

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

Congressmen and women of both parties don't understand meaning of general welfare and are violating the Constitution every time they allocate money that benefits certain groups of people at the expense of others,

They have turned their back on the Constitution and have embraced the principles of socialism. Both political parties believe in the redistribution of wealth. The only difference betweens the parties is who benefits and who property is being redistributed.

In Monarchies the rich plunder to poor and a democracy the poor plunder the rich, but in a republic noone is allowed to plunder anybody. .
