Transfer of Public Lands

The Federal Government owns and/or manages over 500 million acres  in 12 western states. If the ownership  of the land was transferred to the stater, all forms of taxation could be eliminated.The water, timber and minerals resources could generate more than enough money to fund the government of each of the states. 

There is 223 million acres of federal land in the state of Alaska

There is 59 million acres of federal land in the state Nevada

There is 45 million acres of federal land in the state of California

There is 34 million acres of federal land in the state of Utah

There is 32 million acres of federal land in the state of Idaho

There is 30 million acres of federal land in the state of Wyoming

There is 27 million acres of federal land in the state of Montana

There is 32 million acres of federal land in the state of Oregon

There is 12 million acres of federal land in the state of Washington

There is 23 million acres of federal land in the state of Colorado

There is 28 million acres of federal land in the state of Arizona

There is 27 million acres of federal land in the state of New Mexico
