I believe it comes down to this. We are going to have to wean America off of government entitlements and empty promises. It’s time for all of us to be personally responsible for all we do, and be allowed to actually keep all the fruits of our labor. This will lead to prosperity and pride of individual private ownership.
In this new environment I suggest, we no longer have the need for the 16th Amendment or the IRS, because NOBODY pays a dime of income tax. In addition, corporations just pass the cost of their taxes down to the consumer also. So the consumer at the lowest levels of income are ALWAYS going to end up paying the taxes and absorbing the cost of regulation, right along with “the rich” consumers.
Government should be able to operate supported only by Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 taxes, duties, imposts and excises.
That's a lot of money and it ought to be enough for a truly limited government.
