When the government of the united States was first created with the ratification of the Constitution it was established that all legislative power was granted to the people through their Representatives in Congress. The House of Representatives was to be the People's House and we were assigned the task of holding our elected Representatives accountable.

Over the past 229 years we have been asleep at the wheel and have allowed our House and its power to be stolen from us. The bankers have employed an army of lawyers and lobbyists representing the Wall Street Corporations to steal our House.

The founding fathers knew that in order to maintain control of Congress, the people would need to be well represented. So they originally established a ratio of fairness that they thought was efficacious to that end. To whit;

Article I, Section 2, Clause 3,

"The number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty thousand,.."

We fought in the American Revolution because the British King and Parliament were trampling on our rights and taxing us without adequate representation to speak in Parliament. Today, our House has been taken over by Congressmen and Congresswomen who no longer represent  the People.

In order to reclaim our House, the people must demand adequate representation in Congress. The founders were convinced that in order to avoid inadequate representation, they would need a set ratio that would remain constant, no matter the population. Hence the need for Article 1,2,3. They knew that if this ratio were to be altered at any whim, it would ultimately lead to tyranny.

The first members of the House of Representatives in the beginning, each represented approximately 55,000 people. Due to the lack of proper census being taken, they had to estimate.  After the first census was taken to accurately determine the population at about 4 million, the number of Representatives was increased to 105, or approximately 38,000 Constituents per Representative. Even this number is over the lawfully MANDATED "...one for every thirty thousand,.."

In the Article of Amendment, the First, they proposed that the maximum number of people represented by a single Congressman could not exceed 50,000 after the population reached a certain criteria. Although  Congress voted unanimously for it, the amendment failed to be ratified by three-fourths of the states. For the past 229 years, the amendment has been waiting for ratification.

Eleven states have already ratified the proposed amendment and if 27 more state legislatures vote in the affirmative, it will become the 28th Amendment. Only by reducing the size of Congressional Districts can "We the People" be adequately be represented in OUR HOUSE. This is why we need to tell everyone we know in order to regain control of Congress we need to ratify the 28th Amendment.
