The vast majority of human beings will never achieve outstanding success. It is not because they lack the desire, it is because they think and act like virtually everyone else. To escape mediocrity we need to use our brains to think outside the box.
Most people become a mere shadow of what they could and should be. They have followed the path of least resistance and defined their potential based on what they've been taught to believe. We've been trained to be servants rather than creative masters of our environment. We've been taught that security and not liberty should be our primary objective in life.
Please watch this video and realize that you can achieve far greater peace, prosperity and freedom by taking responsibility for your future and tapping your full potential.
The Price of Success"
by Joseph French Johnson.
I often wonder what it is that brings one man success in life, and what it is that brings mediocrity or failure to his brother. The difference can't be in mental capacity; there is not the difference in our mentalities indicated by the difference in performance. In short, I have reached the conclusion that some men succeed because they cheerfully pay the price of success, and others, though they may claim ambition and a desire to succeed, are unwilling to pay that price.
And the price is...
To use all your courage to force yourself to concentrate on the problem in hand, to think of it deeply and constantly, to study it from all angles, and to plan.
To have a high and sustained determination to put over what you plan to accomplish, not if circumstances be favorable to its accomplishment, but in spite of all adverse circumstances which may arise and nothing worthwhile has ever been accomplished without some obstacles having been overcome.
To refuse to believe that there are any circumstances sufficiently strong to defeat you in the accomplishment of your purpose.
Hard? I should say so. That's why so many men never attempt to acquire success, answer the siren call of the rut and remain on the beaten paths that are for beaten men. Nothing worthwhile has ever been achieved without constant endeavor, some pain and constant application of the lash of ambition. That's the price of success as I see it. And I believe every man should ask himself: Am I willing to endure the pain of this struggle for the comforts and the rewards and the glory that go with achievement? Or shall I accept the uneasy and inadequate contentment that comes with mediocrity? Am I willing to pay the Price of Success?

It is not ordinary vs extraordinary.
It is Social Belief vs less belief and more ME Oriented.
For example, Social Belief of some is not to take advantage of mankind and generosity. They are the Ordinary.
One man takes advantage of other men's labor and pay unfairly. This is history period. Those that get rich know how to profit from a person's labor. The equation is that if you pay $1.00 for labor, you want to gain $2.00 for that one dollar spent. Many of us do not accept this principle and will not take unfair advantage. We do not run a business where we make great gain from other people's work.
Then you have the Extraordinary who will do anything possible to make personal gain on the labor of others. Large Farmers take advantage of manual labor by paying minimum wage and realizing maximum advantage. Example is the Milk Production industry: You have minimum wage Mexicans pulling tits all day long for a Milk producing farmer to sell the product. Most large Dairy Farms are owned by Multi-Millionaires because of this principle.
Some Ordinary's have discovered a method of getting around the Belief System by creating COOP Farm product distribution and processing facilities. Take the Southern Cotton Gin - was a private profitable venture in the Mid 1950's, but today, the Farmers have created Coops and jointly share in all products of the soil the grow. No individual is the Extraordinary in this type agreement.
Now, look at the top level of profit. Bill Gates bought a product for several hundred thousand dollars from a well meaning and working stiff - called MS DOS. He parleyed this into billions of dollars for himself by also taking advantage of other working stiff software developers. Take their idea and parley it into BILLIONS. (A few were Extraordinary and signed profit agreements which also netted themselves billions).
Most are never offered the profit sharing whether it be the Cotton Picker or the Salesman for China Market.
Back to the ORDINARY who do not take advantage but want to COOP. They generally have a limit of what they need to make it through life and that is called JUST ENOUGH. I am going to die without anything anyway.
Sorry that you do not recognize puns; and blacks no longer work, it is only Mexican labor I see at the dairies in my neighborhood.
Very well spoken...keep your eyes on your goals and don't let the day-to-day confusions or suppressions get in the way. When it all boils down to it, we are the keepers of our own destinies, our goals ~ no one else can attain it for us.
