The Fannin County Sheriff's name is DANE Kirby, not Dale. Union County Sheriff Mack Mason and his Chief Deputy, John George, Sheriff Clinton of Towns County and Chief Deputy Joe Wood of Cherokee County, NC appeared as a panel of county law enforcement officials at a Union-Towns County Tea Party meeting in Blairsville, GA on Feb. 12th. Every one of them publicly affirmed their duty to protect the Second Amendment and to defend the citizens of their respective counties in exercising their right to keep and bear arms. I will contact Sheriff Mason regarding this list; he should be on it.

@REB: Robert, do you have any idea what your sheriff's stance on the Second Amendment is? If you do and it's positive, then just give him a call. He's an elected official and will be happy to speak with you. If you don't know, then do a little research and try to find out before you call. Do you know any law enforcement people in your town or county? Your DA? Your Tax Commissioner or city council members? School board members? GOP board members? Someone will be able to let you know.
#15 should be Union County Sheriff Mack Mason. Chris Clinton is the Sheriff of Towns County; #13. If Sheriff Mason has not responded to this Web site, and I have invited him, please let me know and I will contact him again. I know he is on-board with our cause.
