To Our Vets
Dear fellow Veterans:

Each of us took an oath to “protect and defend the Constitution for the United States of America from all enemies, foreign and domestic…”. Thanks to you, we successfully defended it from our foreign enemies. Sadly, we didn’t do well against our domestic enemies! We allowed our elected officials in both major political parties to deliberately, unlawfully and systematically destroy our Constitution’s precious principles and procedures and to replace them with the 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto. On 11/22/1994, 30 Republican governors characterized these crimes by saying "Federal action has exceeded the clear bounds of its jurisdiction under the Constitution and thus violated rights guaranteed the people."

That’s the bad news! The good news is that our Nation's founders left us the tools with which to peacefully hold the criminals responsible for this "Federal action” accountable and restore our Republic. To effectively and efficiently use the tools we need unity of spirit and action among millions of responsible, concerned, and well informed Americans. Clearly, no identifiable segment of society is in a better position to provide the needed education and unite Americans than we veterans. We have the numbers, access to facilities, geographic dispersion, and community respect required to unite our fellow Americans in defense of our Constitution. Most importantly, we have an obligation to do so!

The late General Raymond E. Davis, former Commandant of the U. S. Marine Corps, created American Veterans in Domestic Defense. He viewed veterans as a “National Treasure.” And we are!  If we will commit ourselves to doing “whatever it takes” to honor our oath and judiciously use the assets available to us we alone can bring Americans together to form the team described at www.thecnc.org/Documents/1776.htm;  a team that must be created in order to realize the governor’s pledge “to restore to the states and the people the prerogatives and freedoms guaranteed them by the Constitution.” Additional reasons to act can be found at www.thecnc.org/Call2Action.htm.

Please provide leadership in support of the RELIVING 1776 initiative for the sake of all people of the world including our posterity who have a birthright to inherit the blessing of liberty. I urge you to register with the RRI. There is no charge; only a desire to know what others are doing so can make an informed decision on the activities you chose to support.                         .

Sincerely,
